Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments
Monitor fetal heart tracings and recognize/respond to changes
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Administer medications and IV therapy per protocol
Provide patient and family education and emotional support
Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, NICU, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

Active California RN license
Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience
BLS, ACLS, and NRP (AHA required)
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
Experience with high-risk deliveries and emergency situations
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
