Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation Package
Hourly Pay: $8.10/hr
Weekly Taxable: $291.60
Weekly Stipends:
- Housing: $1,127.00/week
- Meals & Incidentals: $518.00/week
OT Rate: $12.15/hr
OT Rate After 40 hrs: $40.00/hr
Total Weekly Gross Pay: $1,936.60
Position Overview
Methodist Texsan Hospital is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist with strong inpatient rehab and/or acute hospital experience. This role supports neuro and orthopedic rehab, along with acute evaluations across multiple hospital units.
Therapists must be reliable, skilled, adaptable, and willing to float as needed per Methodist policy.
Assignment & Schedule Details
- Shift: 8A–5P
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Weekends: Must work 2 weekend shifts per month (comp day provided during the week)
- Call: Discussed during interview
- Start Time: No later than 8:00 AM
- Floating: Required — per Methodist Floating Policy (traveler will be informed during interview)

Required Experience
Candidates must have:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- Inpatient Rehab and/or acute hospital experience
Preferred (not required):
- 2–3 years in Rehab or acute hospital settings
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- NDT certification or brain injury specialty experience
Required Certifications & License
Physical Therapist (PT) role
- Active, unrestricted PT License
- No temporary licenses accepted
(If applying as an OT, Active OT License required as well.)

Therapists on this assignment will perform:
Inpatient Rehab OT/PT
- Neuro evaluations & treatments
- Orthopedic evaluations & treatments
Acute Care
- Ortho, Telemetry, and ICU evaluations
- Early mobility and functional progression treatments
Dress Code
PT/OT Uniform:
- Top: Sage green/olive scrub top
- Pants: Black scrub pants
- Jacket: Sage green scrub jacket
- Undershirts: White or black only
