Position Title: Lead Ultrasound Technician                                 

Location: Chicago, IL

Pay Rate (Local): $40-51/hr. (Based on experience)

 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient’s body.

 

 Requirements: 

  • A certification from an accredited ultrasound school
  • One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • ARDMS - Required
  • Certifications in OB, Vascular and Adbomen

 

 

Schedule: 

  • M-F 7a-33p
  • 40 hours a week
  • On call every 5th and 6th weekend
