- Shift: 12 hours, nights
RRT – Arizona | Start 3/23 (Not Flexible)
⚠️ Requirements:
100-mile radius rule
RRT (AZ license required) – No CRT
BLS, ACLS, PALS required
NRP required if NICU trained
2+ years experience (first-time travelers accepted)
Patient Population:
Adults & Peds
Neonates (NICU trained only – attend deliveries & C-sections)
Duties:
5–6 vents/day | ~35 treatments per 12 hrs
ABGs (draw & analyze), vent management
Assist with intubations (not required to intubate independently)
Coverage Areas:
Inpatient
May float to Foothills Freestanding ED (15 min away – could be solo RT there)
Support:
Intensivist 24/7
Charge RRT each shift
Equipment:
Avea, Hamilton C1, V60, EV300, Aerovo 2, Zoll backup vents, Glidescope
Schedule:
6a/6p shifts
Every other weekend
Work 2 of 3 major holidays
May be placed on low census
Scrubs: Black
Orientation: NEO + ED (1 day) + ICU (1 day) + Floor (1 day) + NICU (if applicable)**
