Description

🌟 Hiring: Ultrasound Technologist – General 🌟
📍 Location: Waterloo, IA
🗓 Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
🌙 Shift: 8-Hour Days (40 hrs/week)

🕒 Shift Details:

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
5x8 hour shifts
Call Requirement:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (rotating among day staff)
- Weekend call as needed: 6:30 PM – 6:00 AM

🏥 Unit Information:

Avg. 15 scans per day
Patient Types: General, OB/GYN, and Vascular

📋 Required Experience:

Minimum 24 months Ultrasound/Sonographer experience (Required)
First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years ULT experience
General/Abdomen experience (Required)
Non high-risk OB/GYN (Required)
Vascular experience (Required)
EPIC EMR experience (Required)

🎯 Proficiency Required In:

Abdomen/RUQ with liver vessel evaluation
Kidneys & Bladder
Pelvis (transabdominal & transvaginal)
1st Trimester OB (TA & TV)
Limited 2nd/3rd Trimester OB (BPP, measurements, fluid checks)
Testicle/Scrotum
DVT/Venous (upper & lower extremities)
ABIs
Thyroid
Aorta duplex
Carotid doppler

Preferred experience assisting with: fine needle aspirations, paracentesis & thoracentesis
