🕒 Shift Options (4x10s):

• Monday–Friday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
• Weekends: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Urgent Care RN with strong outpatient and emergency background to join a fast-paced ambulatory setting. This role serves patients across the lifespan — infants through geriatrics — and requires confidence in independent assessment, IV starts, and emergency response.

Floating within scope may be required.

Requirements

✔ Active California RN license (in hand)
✔ BLS (AHA or ARC)
✔ 2 years outpatient experience
✔ 1 year Urgent Care or ER experience

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
• Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs
• Start IVs (adults & pediatrics)
• Administer IM, IV, SQ, and intradermal medications
• Perform splinting, wound care, sutures, and suture removal
• Assist with pelvic exams, pap smears, burn care, biopsies
• Provide nebulizer treatments and oxygen therapy
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
• Conduct point-of-care testing (strep, UA, glucose, pregnancy tests)
• Telephone triage and follow-up patient education
