Position Overview

A traveler‑friendly critical access facility in Walsenburg, CO is seeking a dedicated Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13‑week night‑shift contract. This role is ideal for an ER nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced rural environment and is confident managing a wide range of patient acuity levels.

Full‑time, 36 hours per week

Strong collaboration with providers and ancillary staff

Requirements

Active RN license in Colorado or Compact
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC – all required and current
Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience
Strong triage, critical thinking, and rapid‑response skills
