Description

Department Details: Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages. Must be able to do CIWA/COWS, UAs and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries

Beds: 50 (20 female/30 male)

Nurse/Patient ratio: 1 nurse on night shift; For the 7p-11p of the shift there are 2-3 BHA (techs) on shift. 11p-7 there is 1 tech on shift.

EMR: HCS - electronic

Additional Information: Voluntary patients, no restraints, Admin on call and Doctor on call at all times, no on-site security. Visiting hours are Sundays 1-4p. Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hour shifts training until comfortable.

The disciplines we can accept are LMSW, LICSW, LCMHC, LMFT, MLADC, LADC, LPC. open to Out of state licensure as long as the can practice in Iowa.

Must have valid CADC, ICADC or ability to obtain within 6 months*

Required Experience: 2+ year professional working with patients in a recovery setting.

Dress Code: Business casual

Documentation: EHR-HCS

Shift: 40 hours a week with rotating weekend. 1x per 5 weeks.
