Description
Interventional Radiology Technologist
Certifications:
- ARRT
- BLS
Required Experience:
- Interventional Radiology procedures including embolization, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy, TIPS, venous access, ablations, and dialysis interventions
- Fluoroscopy and ultrasound
- Scrub and circulate roles; maintain sterile field
- Central line and port placement/management
- PACS documentation and image post-processing
Equipment Experience:
- GE Innova IGS
- Philips systems
- Inari thrombectomy system
- IVUS
- Ablation units
- Cone beam CT
- Excimer laser
Patient Population:
- Oncology
- Renal failure
- Trauma
- Stroke
- Hemorrhage
- Venous access cases
