NICU Registered Nurse – Nights | Ithaca, NY
13-Week Travel Contract | Start Date: March 23
Join a collaborative Maternal Child Health team providing specialized care to newborns and families in a supportive, patient-focused environment. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about neonatal and postpartum care.

🏥 Role Overview
The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care within the Maternal Child Health department, supporting neonatal and maternal patients through assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of physical, emotional, educational, and developmental needs.
Work closely with unit leadership while practicing within established nursing standards and guidelines including:
- AWONN
- ACOG
- NNA
- AORN
✅ Requirements
- Current New York State RN License
- Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
- Experience in NICU or postpartum care preferred
- Strong patient assessment and family-centered care skills
📜 Certifications
- BLS (required upon hire)
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP (required within 6 months of hire)
💪 Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Light patient-care lifting responsibilities
- Comfortable operating clinical equipment and computer systems
