Scheduling:

Weekends: Required per staffing needs
On‑Call: None
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Projected Start Date: March 16, 2026

Unit Overview:

Total Beds: 60
Total Staff: ~50
Staffing Model:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse per floor, RNs, LVNs, PCTs, Unit Secretary (as grid allows)
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse per floor, RNs, LVNs, PCTs
Patient Ratios:
- 4th Floor Med Surg Specialty: 5:1
- 5th Floor Med Surg: 6:1
Equipment: Remote telemetry, capnography, Alaris IV pumps, glucometers, Dinamap monitors
EMR: Alterra (Allscripts)

Required Skills (must have):

Telemetry experience
Medical-Surgical nursing experience

Preferred Skills (nice to have):

Cardiac rhythm recognition
IV starts
Strong time‑management skills

Required Certifications & License:

ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Active TX RN or Compact RN license
