• Position: Occupational Therapist, Pediatric Feeding
• Focus: Assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with feeding and eating difficulties; may include general pediatric developmental OT coverage
• Assignment Length: 20 weeks
• Schedule: 4x10s, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, off Wednesday
  • Patient care hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Start and end times may vary by about 30 minutes depending on documentation
• On-Call: No on-call requirements; may be called off based on patient volume
• Minimum Experience Required: 1.5 years
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Required Certifications and Licensure:

• BLS, AHA
• NBCOT
• Active CA OT License

Education Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program, or
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program if graduated prior to 2004

Experience Requirements:

• Must be able to independently evaluate and treat a full caseload of pediatric patients with feeding disorders
• Experience in assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding and eating difficulties required
• Swallowing disorders experience preferred
• Experience with patients 18 months and older required; 8 months and older preferred
• Pediatric general developmental OT experience required
• Children’s hospital experience preferred, not required
