Unit Overview

The MRI unit operates a single‑scanner, single‑table environment designed for high‑quality diagnostic imaging with a strong emphasis on patient safety and workflow efficiency.

• Beds/Equipment: 1 MRI scanner, 1 table
• Scanner Type: GE 1.5T Discovery 450
• EMR: Meditech
• Patient Ratio: 1:1

Position Summary

The Travel MRI Technologist will independently perform MRI examinations, ensuring high‑quality imaging and safe patient care. This role requires strong critical‑thinking skills, adaptability, and comfort working autonomously in a fast‑paced environment. Weekend and night‑shift availability is essential.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following:

• BLS certification
• ARRT certification (MRI)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with these skills will be prioritized:

• ACLS certification (preferred, not required)

Typical Procedures

• MRI examinations producing detailed images of internal anatomical structures
• Non‑ionizing imaging only (no X‑ray use)
