$2434 travel rate for 36 hours ($33/hr +$770 lodging and $476 meal) | 13 Weeks | Nights 

Schedule is not flexible but is a 36/48 hour rotation
Week1: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday
Week 2: Sunday Wednesday Thursday

Job Description:

• Psychiatric unit nurses are usually assigned a caseload of patients and provide direct care to their patients, which includes facilitating social and emotional needs, supervising medication schedules and evaluating patient progress.
• Assist physicians with patient management.
• Evaluate and treat patients with mental disorders.
• Instructing and educating patients and families.
• Orient and mentor new staff members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care.

Qualifications and Job Info:

• 1-2 years of recent Behavioral Health experience
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Active state nursing license
• Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.
