Surgical Technologist – OR (Ortho Focus)

13-Week Contract | 3/30/2026 – 6/27/2026
$2175 Weekly Gross
4 x 10 Hour Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a high-volume Operating Room with a strong orthopedic focus. This is a 13-week contract with a rotating schedule and call requirements.

Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
  • 7:00am – 5:30pm or 9:00am – 7:30pm (based on department needs)
• No block scheduling allowed

Weekend & Call Requirements

• Every 3rd weekend:
  • Work one 8-hour shift and/or take 16 hours of call
  • Weekend call primarily in Main OR for orthopedic cases, may assist with general surgery
• Weekend call hours may include:
  • 7:00am – 3:30pm
  • 3:00pm – 11:30pm
  • 11:00pm – 7:00am
• Weekend call period runs Friday 5:30pm through Monday 7:00am
• Must arrive within 30 minutes of receiving call

Holiday Requirement

• Required to work one summer holiday
• May be scheduled for an 8-hour shift or call (rotation based)

Late Call

• May be required to stay up to 8 hours after shift to finish cases
• One L1, one L2, and one L3 per week

Clinical Experience

• Strong orthopedic experience required
• May assist with general surgery cases
• Experience with the following systems preferred:
  • Zimmer
  • Synthes
  • Arthrex
  • Biomet
  • Depuy
  • Tornier
  • Stryker
  • DJO
  • Rosa Robot

EMR

• EPIC
