Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to support clinical operations in a dental setting. This role is responsible for ensuring all instruments, equipment, and treatment areas are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained according to the highest infection control standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and compliant clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control guidelines
• Prepare treatment rooms with properly sterilized instruments and materials
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment accurately and safely
• Monitor, document, and log sterilization cycles according to safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sterilization area
• Properly dispose of hazardous and biohazardous waste following established protocols
• Support clinical team workflow to ensure efficient patient care
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Previous sterilization or dental assisting experience preferred
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety standards
• Experience operating autoclaves and sterilization equipment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
