We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
• Assist Dental Hygienists during patient procedures
• Update patient health histories and document treatment progress
• Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and instrument sterilization
• Support patient scheduling, treatment recommendations, and recall systems
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Hygiene Assistant, or completion of a Dental Assistant Internship
• High school diploma or GED
• Active X-Ray Certification
• Current CPR Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Dental Assisting certification
• CDA, RDA, or EFDA credentials
