Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our outpatient clinical team. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will provide patient care within the scope of the Vocational Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards while ensuring a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.

This role involves caring for patients ranging from young adults to geriatric populations and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Provide direct and indirect patient care as assigned
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Ensure proper maintenance and documentation of department equipment and quality measures
• Support infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Provide culturally competent care tailored to patient and family needs
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate safe body mechanics and proper use of clinical equipment

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic or healthcare setting
• Completion of an approved Vocational Nursing program
• Active and current Vocational Nursing License (LVN)
• Current BLS Certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic keyboarding and computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, multicultural environment
