Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted

Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: General Diagnoses include ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Post-op complications, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, Liver failure, Drug overdose, ESRD on CRRT

Ratio / Census: 1:2-3 (Traveler should be prepared for the possibility of taking a 3rd patient); 24 Rooms with average daily census of 19

Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic, SBAR

Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed
