Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient / Inpatient / IRF

Role Overview

This Physical Therapist position supports a dynamic, award‑winning rehabilitation team within a community‑based hospital. The role offers exposure to outpatient orthopedics and neuro, inpatient acute care, and inpatient rehab (IRF), with a strong emphasis on one‑on‑one patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Work Environment

• Equipment: LiteGait, BITS, Nustep, IASTM tools
• Documentation: Meditech + paper charting
• Scheduling:
  • Flexible M–F scheduling (5×8 or 4×10)
  • One Saturday per month with a flex day off during the week
• Floating: Primarily outpatient; may support IRF/acute as needed
• Dress Code: Light grey scrubs
• Certifications: Leapfrog Grade A hospital

Team & Culture

• Collaborative interdisciplinary team including PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, and RNs
• Programs designed for one‑on‑one patient care with additional time for education
• Productivity expectations below national averages (75–80%)

Required Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate:

• Basic Physical Therapy skills as an independent clinician
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and remain flexible throughout the day

Preferred Experience

• Outpatient experience (orthopedic or neuro) is preferred but not required
