CT Tech | Barberton, OH | Days (7AM-7:30PM)

Job Summary: 

• Operates Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce Diagnostic C.T. Scans and diagnostic radiographs, under indirect supervision.
• Ensures all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner.
• Evaluates images with Radiologist, takes additional images as needed or requested.
• Assists with procedures of an invasive nature. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Formal Education Required: -Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.
• Experience & Training Required: -One (1) year Radiology Technology experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain CT registry within one year of hire.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, apply and adjust restraining devices and administer intravenous injections of contrast.
• Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians and other hospital employees.
• Ability to lift and position patients.
• Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures.
• Ability to utilize computer system and file system to facilitate patient records. 

• Ability to initiate CPR and (CPR Certification).
