Respiratory Therapy Staff

3100A Oscillator
Bunnell Ventilator
Servo Ventilators
Continuous Nebulizer Systems
Nitric Oxide
Heliox Therapy
Standard Nebulizers

Documentation System: Meditech

Floating Policy: May provide coverage for adult units for nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, chest physiotherapy (CPT), and related treatments.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered:
Active BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital experience as an RRT
Current NICU/PICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Meditech experience (highly preferred by department leadership)

Role Responsibilities

Respiratory Therapists in the NICU/PICU provide specialized respiratory care for infants and pediatric patients, including:
Delivery and management of advanced respiratory therapies
Ventilator management and airway care
Medication administration and aerosol delivery
Monitoring and evaluation of respiratory status
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team
