Description

5x8's M-F 10:30am-7pm

Equipment & Environment:
Scanners: Philips 3T and 1.5T (5.7 software)
Scanners covered by traveler: 1
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
Average scans/shift: 7–11
PACS/RIS: Change Healthcare Radiology Solutions (McKesson) / Epic RIS
Exam Types & Skill Expectations:
 Most Common Studies: Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, Breast, MRA/MRV, General MRI
 Advanced Studies Required: Yes (Traveler will not perform Cardiac MRI)
 Contrast Administration: Required
 IV Starts: Not required
 Pediatric Imaging: Required
Workflow & Autonomy
 Radiologist coverage: On-site and remote reading
 Patient screening: MRI Technologist responsible
 Patient transport: Hospital transport team
Schedule & Coverage
 Call:
o 6:00 am – 3:00 pm (Sat/Sun)
o 4–5 weekends during a 13-week assignment
 Holidays: Required if it falls during call week

 Required: ARRT (MR) and BLS
