Position Overview
West Florida Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support cardiac and vascular surgical cases within the Cardiovascular Operating Room. This role requires strong technical proficiency, excellent teamwork, and the ability to scrub open-heart procedures.

Unit Details

Heart/Vascular ORs: 1–2 dedicated rooms
Total OR Suites: 12
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Staffing Model: RNs, Surgical Technologists, Orderlies
Equipment: Standard OR equipment
Charting System: Meditech

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Shift Length: Standard 8-hour shift; may consider 10-hour shifts
Call Requirements: Weekday and weekend on-call required
Floating: May float to Main OR when no cardiac or vascular cases are scheduled
Dress Code: Hospital‑provided surgical scrubs

Required Skills

Must be able to scrub open-heart cases (required)
Experience scrubbing both cardiac and vascular procedures

Preferred Experience

Scrubbing endovascular procedures (preferred but not required)

Open-heart surgeries
Lung procedures
Vascular surgeries

Certifications

No additional certifications required beyond CST
