Job Title: Interventional Radiology (IR) / Angio Technologist

Location: Richmond, VA
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 10-Hour Days, Monday–Friday (alternating day off)
Call: Required (weekday + rotating weekend call, 30-minute response time)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced IR/Angio Technologist for a high-volume interventional radiology department. This role requires strong neuro angiography experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment serving pediatric through geriatric patients.

RNs will NOT be considered for this position.
 

Schedule & Call

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday
• Alternating weekday off
• Weekday call required
• Rotating weekend call (Friday–Sunday)
• 30-minute response time
• Call frequency dependent on staffing and vacation coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex IR and neuro angiography procedures
• Scrub and assist during interventional cases
• Occasionally scrub in CT (no other modalities required)
• Assist with CT, Ultrasound, and Diagnostic procedures as needed
• Support 10–15 cases per day in a high-volume setting
• Maintain flexibility and adaptability in dynamic procedural environments
• Provide care for pediatric through geriatric patients

Requirements

• Neuro angiography experience required
• Experience beyond basic peripheral access, lines, or drains required
• Pediatric and adult patient experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume department

Certifications

• ARRT required
• BLS required
• No EKG test required
