Salary: $140,000 – $180,000 annually
(Compensation based on years of GI experience and credentials)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for gastrointestinal conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform consultations in outpatient clinic and hospital settings
• Coordinate pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records

Qualifications
 

Required:

• Active NP or PA license in New York State
• DEA certification
• Minimum 2–3 years of gastroenterology experience
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred:

• Experience managing inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver disease, or GI motility disorders
• Hospital privileges or willingness to obtain
• Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
