Description

🕒 Shift

Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
Call: Every other night & every other weekend
13-week contract
Location: Baptist Health Paducah

🫀 Responsibilities:

First assist in CVOR cardiac & vascular surgeries (CABG, valve, aortic cases, ECMO, VAD)
Suturing, clamping, cutting tissue, vessel ligation
Manage drains, suctioning, irrigation
Maintain sterile field & aseptic technique
Complete instrument & sponge counts

✅ Requirements (No Exceptions) 🎓 Education Technical diploma from CST training program required Must provide actual CST training diploma High school diploma or unrelated degree will NOT qualify 📜 Certifications CST CSFA NBSTSA certification BLS 🏥 Experience Minimum 3 years consistent CVOR experience Cardiac cases required: CABG Valve replacements Aortic repair ECMO VAD Thoracotomy Community hospital experience required Trauma experience preferred
