Position Overview

Seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT settings. Techs will float between the outpatient center and hospital as needed.

Daily census averages 8 patients.

Required Qualifications

✔ 1 year of experience (minimum)
✔ BLS certification
✔ ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB
✔ California State License
✔ Ability to start and maintain IVs & perform venipuncture
✔ Experience working with students

Equipment

PET/CT: Siemens
Nuclear Medicine: 2 E-CAM systems + 1 Orbiter

Key Responsibilities

PET/CT & Advanced Imaging

PET Scans
SPECT (Bone, Brain, Liver, Renal)
Myocardial perfusion studies
Pharmacologic & exercise cardiac stress testing
Adenosine, Persantine, Dobutamine protocols

Nuclear Medicine Procedures

Whole body & 3-phase bone scans
Thyroid uptake, scan, and ablation
Renograms (Lasix & Captopril)
Lung V/Q scans
Liver/Spleen imaging
HIDA scans (with CCK)
Gastric emptying
GI bleed studies
MUGA scans
DAT scans
Parathyroid scans
Lymphoscintigraphy
Gallium & WBC scans
Adrenal imaging
Cardiac amyloidosis studies
