Description

Job Title: Cardiovascular Surgical Tech (CVOR Tech)
Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Division: Nursing
Care Setting: Acute Care
Shift Length: 10-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Charting System: EPIC
Shift Schedule: Every 4 weeks (3-4 call shifts per month, weekends required every 4th weekend)

Required:

Experience:
- 3 years of cardiovascular surgical tech experience preferred.
- Strong background in scrubbing for heart and endovascular surgeries.
Licensure/Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST) is preferred, but not mandatory based on experience.
Skills:
- Proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high standards of patient care and safety.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is beneficial, but training will be provided as needed.
