LPN for busy gastroenterology practices
Float to multiple office locations in the Norwalk area.
Asist the clinician in providing medical care to the patients of the Medical Practice.
Prepares materials, supplies, equipment, and the patient to assist clinician with the patient's medical exam.
Obtains the patient's history and medical information.
Provides direct patient care as directed by a Registered Nurse or clinician. 
Collects and processes specimens as directed by the clinician and performs point of care testing.
Administers medications, and vaccinations as directed by the clinician. 
Instructs the patient and family on how to perform clinician recommended preventive care, takes prescribed medication, prepares for tests, monitors treatment progress and notes symptom changes.
Other duties as assigned.


Required:
License required – state of CT 
BLS
1 yr + experience
Medical practice experience
Ability to travel between practices as needed

Preferred:
Gastroenterology experience preferred
