Description

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

  • 3+ years of Labor/Delivery experience
  • BLS, NRP
  • ACLS, ALS (preferred)

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

  •  Mom/Baby, Peds and/or NICU experience

 

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

  • Vaginal deliveries, c-section deliveries,
  • Delivery of care through nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.  Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients and high-risk antepartum patients

 

  • Patient Ratios –  2:1, 1:1 with complicated patients
  • Type of equipment -  FHR monitors (Novii and GE), FSE (fetal scalp electrodes),
  • EMR – CPN and Meditech
• 36 guaranteed hours a week and RTO upon request • Potential Overtime hours • 13 week contract, book directly with facility • Potential to extend contract with facility • Potential hourly incentives for specific specialties • 401k & Discounted stock purchase options Charting system: Meditech
