MRI Technologist I

Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Pay: $2,812/week
Contract: (13 Weeks)
Schedule: Night Shift | 36 Hours/Week | 3x12s

We are seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to grow their experience in a dynamic acute care setting.

Position Details:

Specialty: MRI Tech
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
36 hours per week guaranteed
Occasional backup call (a few days per month)
Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for MRI procedures and review clinical history
Operate MRI equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures
Ensure image quality and proper documentation
Transfer images to archival systems and prepare studies for physician review
Perform operator-level quality control and equipment maintenance
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Provide safe, patient-centered care in routine and emergent situations

Requirements:

Graduate of a CAAHEP or JRCERT accredited program (Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Specialty)
Must meet eligibility requirements for MRI Certification (required within 12 months of hire)
AHA BLS Certification
Strong knowledge of imaging principles, anatomy, and patient positioning
Ability to work nights and remain calm in high-pressure situations
