RN PreOp

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
First-time travelers are not accepted
Float may be required
EPIC experience required
BLS required, ACLS preferred

Required Skills

Experience in ambulatory/outpatient and inpatient surgical settings
Pre- and post-operative patient care
Phase II recovery
Dysrhythmia recognition and cardiac monitoring
Administration of opioid analgesics and reversal agents
Pre-operative assessments, education, and medication administration
Discharge instructions and post-operative care planning
Pain assessment and management
