Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience required
Prior travel experience required
Must be able to manage high-acuity patients

Unit Details

Unit Size: 19-bed Labor & Delivery unit
EMR System: Epic
Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue and/or White

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring – Class must be taken and passed

Preferred Certifications

AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) Certification

Education Requirement

Degree accreditation must be listed on the candidate profile,
OR the candidate must have 5 years of experience.

Call Requirement

12 hours of call required within a 6-week scheduling period

Floating Requirements

Floating is required
Travelers are first to float and may be required to float to sister campuses

Radius Rule

Candidates must live more than 50 miles from GCMC permanent address

Facility Culture

The unit places strong importance on culture and teamwork
Travelers are welcomed into the unit and expected to function as core staff members.
