Job Title: Travel RN – ICU / Stepdown
Location: Morristown, NJ 
Unit: Simon 2 NV Stepdown (High Acuity SDU)
Conract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12 hours (36 hours per week)
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient status closely.
• Provide direct nursing care using strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Demonstrate competency in clinical procedures and use of emergency equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and post-care instructions.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including proper patient identification and safe care practices.
• Use proper body mechanics and safe patient transfer techniques.
• Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience – Required
• Active RN License – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required

Education

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $2,651
• Weekly Stipend: $1,561
• Taxable W2 Rate: $30.30/hr
