MRI Tech – Travel Assignment

📍 Seaside, OR

📆 Duration: 13 Weeks
🕒 Schedule: 4x10s – Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
📅 Block Schedule: Monday – Thursday

Position Overview

We are seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in scenic Seaside, Oregon. This role offers a consistent block schedule (Monday–Thursday) with no weekends or on-call requirements, making it an excellent opportunity for travelers seeking work-life balance.

Job Duties

Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
Prepare and position patients safely for MRI procedures while ensuring comfort and clear instructions throughout the process.
Screen patients for MRI safety, including reviewing medical history, implants, and contraindications.
Operate and monitor MRI equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images.
Ensure proper documentation and charting in Epic or facility-approved systems.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or medical concerns.
Maintain infection control and safety standards in the imaging department.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
Perform routine equipment checks, quality assurance, and troubleshooting as needed.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times.

Requirements

MRI Technologist certification (ARRT-MR or equivalent) required.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required.
