Shift Notes
12 hr nights. Monday through Friday. No weekends, no call.
Must Haves: BLS - AHA RPSGT certification ND state license, or willing to get prior to start Min 2 years PEDS and/or NICU sleep study experience General job duties. Types of procedures required. 36 hours per week working 12 hour night shifts. Performs quality diagnostic polysomnographic, as well as titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests will be performed. Records and provides relevant and accurate data to physicians for diagnostic use in the treatment of patients with sleep/wake disorders. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Computerized charting. Utilize natus software for our sleep studies. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. Registration by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists required as a Polysomnographic Technologist in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required. Will also consider registration from American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). ND state license. Shift or schedule requirements. The employee may be the only pediatric sleep tech but will have other adult sleep techs scheduled with them so that they are not alone in the building. Call is not required. Weekends are not required. Floating to over units/departments. n/a Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 2 pediatric beds Dress Code: Dark gray scrubs
