Position Overview

Androscoggin Valley Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join its Radiology Department in Berlin, NH. The technologist will work under the direction of radiologists and the supervision of the Director of Radiology to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support patient care across a variety of age groups.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent patient interaction abilities, and the flexibility to work in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Compensation & Incentives

• Hourly Range: $29.32 – $36.65/hour
• $7,500 Sign-On Bonus
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500
• Student Loan Repayment: Up to $15,750 over 3 years

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Operate imaging equipment to capture images of head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Work with patients across the lifespan (neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric)
• Cross-train in additional imaging modalities when required

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography
• New Hampshire Radiologic Technologist License (or Compact license in hand at submission)
• BLS Certification
• Familiarity with computer systems and healthcare applications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CT Certification (ARRT-CT)
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Ability to cross-train in multiple imaging modalities
