Position: Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:
The LTC Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents’ health conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide direct nursing care and support to residents.
• Supervise and guide LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa (or eligibility to obtain).
• Previous experience in Long-Term Care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
