Job Overview
A hospital in Tulsa, OK is seeking an experienced Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist – Vascular to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures. In this role, you will provide high-quality imaging and measurements to assist cardiologists in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. The technologist will perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound studies, assist physicians during complex cardiovascular procedures, and communicate critical findings to the healthcare team to support timely patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cardiac or vascular ultrasound experience
- Experience performing vascular ultrasound studies including Chronic Venous Insufficiency evaluations
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) through ARDMS
OR RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) through CCI - BLS certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures and communicate findings effectively
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiac Ultrasound program
- Experience assisting physicians during advanced cardiovascular procedures
