Description

Med/Surg - RN
Orientation Dates: 3/23 is ideal (or 4/13 if needed)
Length: 12 weeks
Hours per week: 36 hours

  • Shift: 12-hour D/E/N, every other weekend coverage
  • 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a
  • Day/Mid/Night - as needed
  • The expectation is for our travelers to fill in the schedule gaps that our staff can't cover, so their shifts will depend on where the holes are.
  • Cancellation Policy – providers can be cancelled up to 1.5 hours prior to their shift
  • Floating Requirements: per unit need
    Weekends: per unit need
    RTO:  RTO accepted
  • Certs: BLS, PALS or PEARS
  • License: MN RN license (active)
  • Experience: 2+ years of unit specific RN experience
  • PEDS experience is REQUIRED
  • Responsibilities: Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members.
  • COVID Vaccine Requirement: Vaccine and Booster (if eligible) required
  • Scrub Color Requirement: Royal Blue

    Contingent Worker Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Current Minnesota RN licensure
    • Current BLS
    • Current PEARS or PALS certification
    • Two years pediatric nursing experience
    • N95 fit testing required
