Middle School Special Education Teacher
Location: New Jersey
Start: ASAP
Assignment: Remainder of the current school year and the 2026–2027 school year
Caseload: Grades 5–8

What You’ll Do

  • Provide special education instruction and support for students in grades 5–8
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Adapt classroom instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Track student progress and maintain required documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

Requirements

  • NJ DOE Students with Disabilities Certification
  • Experience working with middle school special education students preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting student growth and development
