Description

Tele/Step-Down RN – Nights | Travel Contract

Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours: 36 hrs/week guaranteed | 13 weeks (89 days)
Unit: Telemetry / Step-Down

Responsibilities

Provide care for cardiac patients, including post-cardiac cath and chest tube management
May float to other units depending on staffing

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years recent telemetry experience (4 years preferred)
Education: ASN required, BSN preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- RN – NJ license or multi-state compact
- BLS & ACLS (AHA)
- Telemetry certification or competency exam
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Additional Info

Some weekends required; no holiday or on-call requirements
