We are seeking a Travel Pediatric Occupational Therapist with experience in the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with feeding and eating difficulties. The therapist will provide specialized care to children with feeding disorders and may also assist with general pediatric developmental occupational therapy services.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in evaluating and managing feeding challenges while delivering compassionate care to children and their families in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients experiencing feeding and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
• Provide therapy for children with feeding disorders and developmental delays.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapy techniques and home care strategies.
• Manage a full caseload of pediatric patients independently.

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 1.5 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience
• Experience with assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding/eating difficulties required
• Experience with swallowing disorders preferred
• Experience treating patients 18 months and older required (8 months and older preferred)
• Ability to independently manage and treat a full pediatric caseload

Education

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program (if graduated prior to 2004)

Certifications & Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapy License (California or another state)
• Candidates licensed in another state may practice under the California 60-day rule while obtaining a CA license
• NBCOT Certification
• BLS (AHA)
