Job Title - Medical Technologist/ Medical Laboratory Scientist/ Medical Laboratory Technologist 

Job Type: Contract

Location- Everett, WA

Shift:  Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm/ 40 hrs/ week 
Pay - $32 to $36/ hr on W2
 

Job Summary:
The Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist (MLS/MT) performs laboratory testing across pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic phases to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. The role ensures accurate results through proper specimen handling, equipment maintenance, quality control, and data analysis while supporting high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and analyze laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure proper instrument performance.
• Monitor quality control and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Maintain specimen integrity and accurate documentation of results.
• Use Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) for data entry and reporting.
• Train or assist new laboratory staff and support team collaboration.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or medical technology.
• MLS/MT certification from a nationally recognized agency (ASCP, AMT, AAB).
• Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, medical terminology, and quality control practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist.
