Location: Massachusetts
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (12-Hour Days)
Schedule: 36 hours/week (72 hours biweekly)
Call: Required

Job Description

A large Level 1 Trauma hospital is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. This role requires a highly skilled OR nurse with strong experience across multiple surgical specialties, including transplant, cardiac, and vascular procedures.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment and circulating independently across a wide range of cases.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in complex surgical procedures
• Provide intraoperative patient care in a high-acuity OR environment
• Collaborate with surgical teams during transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Support efficient OR workflow in a large hospital setting

Schedule & Call Requirements

• 12-hour day shifts: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Call required approximately 3 times per month
• Call shifts may include:
  • 11 PM – 7 AM
  • 7 PM – 11 PM
  • Weekend 12-hour call shifts

Minimum Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 5+ years recent OR experience
• Level 1 Trauma hospital experience required
• Experience with transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• Experience working in a large hospital OR
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Flu vaccine required prior to start

Additional Information

• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly
• Guaranteed hours do not include on-call hours
• Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) for at least 6 months to be eligible
