Description
Duration: 13 Weeks • Interview Type: MS Teams or Phone • Interview Duration: 15 minutes • Interview Team: Manager, Supervisor and possible lead Tech • Responsibilities: Will be assigned to an area (ER or OR), Will do portable, young and geriatric. • Hours: 5 -8hour days. 7a-3:30pm Every other weekend Rotation • Shifts: M-F and Every other weekend. • On - Call: No • Block Scheduling: No • Certifications: ARRT - RT • Min. Years Exp: 2 years • Must have: level I or II Trauma experience, in OR. • Technology: GE, Carestream, OEC C-Arms, Cerner • Epic (Y/N): N
Skills:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Work in the hospital with a fixed unit and/or in the IPD/OR/ER, etc. with a mobile unit.
• May be potentially exposed to radiation if proper precautions are not utilized.
• May be exposed to high-voltage equipment.
• May be exposed to potentially contagious patients.
• Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients that would be in excess of 10 lbs.
Education:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
• Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible. If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire.
• Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
