Description
Operating Room RN – Travel Contract | California
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with two schedule options available. Candidates must clearly indicate which shift they are applying for when submitting.
This role requires a strong OR background with experience supporting complex surgical cases in a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN will provide perioperative care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical outcomes while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.
Available Schedules:
Option A – Nights
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts (Sun–Tues block)
Unit: Operating Room (OR)
Shift: Nights
Option B – Days (Varied)
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts (Wed–Fri block)
Unit: Operating Room (OR)
Shift: Days / Varied
Requirements:
- Active California RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (annual renewal required)
- Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room experience
- Minimum 1 year travel RN experience
- Experience with Trauma, Orthopedics, and Robotic surgical procedures
Additional Requirements:
- Call rotation required (weekday, weekend, and holidays)
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Skills checklist required at time of submission
