Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery 

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Minimum of 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Strong assessment skills for antepartum triage, labor, fetal evaluations, and post-delivery care
• Ability to stabilize and manage emergency obstetric and neonatal conditions promptly
• Proficiency in administering medications such as Pitocin, mag sulfate, and antihypertensives
• Expertise in neonatal stabilization, including new-born medications, assessments, and critical care as needed
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to float between departments and locations.

Additional Skills That Will Set You Apart:

• EPIC EHR experience, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems (training available)
• Certifications in fetal monitoring (AWHONN intermediate or advanced)
• Experience with obstetric acuity tools and emergency cesarean protocols

Preferred Credentials and Background:

• Valid RN license in the State of New Mexico or a Compact State
• BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or similar)
• NRP certification for neonatal resuscitation
• Ability to pass BCA testing upon start; failure results in dismissal.
