Travel RN – Stepdown Unit (Night Shift)
Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas
Pay: $2,092/week
Start Date: March 30, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Job Summary
The Travel RN provides patient care in the Stepdown unit, caring for post-cardiac surgery patients and those requiring close monitoring. The RN works with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, safe, and efficient care for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage post-CV surgery patients
Administer and titrate cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol)
Manage Bipaps, Airvos, and recognize deteriorating patient conditions
Document patient care in EPIC EMR
Collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

Current Arkansas RN License
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
2+ years of Stepdown or acute care experience
Experience with post-CV surgeries and cardiac medication management
